If someone feeds me dry beef with only water as seasoning I’m stealing something out of their house

via @unpretty​ #god it’s so DRY#first of all there’s too much meat for that pan#so it’s greying instead of browning#if it doesn’t actually get crispy brown bits on it#you have probably crowded your pan#SECOND of all#if you are removing fat from ground beef#you have to scoop it out with a spoon#BECAUSE#not only do you want to leave a certain amount of fat coating the meat#so that it is not DRY AND UNPLEASANT#but also#GREASE DOESN’T GO DOWN THE DRAIN#WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU#DON’T POUR GREASE DOWN THE DRAIN#IT HARDENS INTO FATBERGS IT RUINS YOUR PIPES AND THE SEWER SYSTEM#NEVER EVER POUR GREASE DOWN THE DRAIN#even if you don’t care about flavor and just want some dry grey protein#(in which case why not just use a can of black beans??? it’s cheaper and subs for ground beef easy)#you should never put your ground beef in a colander because THEN YOU ARE POURING GREASE DOWN THE DRAIN#DON’T EVER DO THAT#scoop the grease into an old coffee mug and when it hardens throw it in the trash 

Some important details. Because there’s no faster way to fuck up your water system than to dump grease into it.

No human language has a word for the feeling I got when she put beef into a colander and started pouring the grease down the sink and RINSING THE BEEF???? God this is why I don’t trust ppl in nutrition programs
